Summary: Seeking an IT professional to monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot computer systems, networks, and software applications for a dental laboratory, ensuring efficient IT infrastructure and user support. Support specialized dental CAD/CAM systems and lab management RESPONSIBILITIES: For a full-service dental laboratories company providing dental prosthetic appliances (American Dental Designs, Inc. - Montgomeryville, PA): monitor and ensure the efficient daily performance of computer systems, network devices and related IT infrastructure; install, configure and maintain computer hardware, operating systems and software applications for employees; diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network-related issues to minimize downtime; perform equipment setups, upgrades and repairs as needed following technical specifications; maintain system performance logs and track IT incidents and document corrective actions taken; respond to user inquiries and provide technical support related to computer hardware, software and system operations; implement and support cybersecurity measures, including compliance with data privacy and HIPAA standards; collaborate with vendors and service providers to install, configure and maintain specialized software and hardware used in dental CAD/CAM systems and laboratory management; assist in evaluating existing systems and recommending upgrades or improvements to optimize performance; provide user training and support for software applications and laboratory management systems; support internal software testing and development initiatives related to the company's web and mobile applications for case management and order tracking. REQUIREMENTS: 1. Bachelor or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field. 2. 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of computer support experience. The required experience must include support of computer systems, software and networks, user support, maintenance of documentation of IT operations, incidents and resolutions, assisting with software development and testing, maintenance of and support of internal applications, including user account setup, permission and testing of updates or patches. 3. Experience in supporting dental or healthcare specific software and equipment, including CAD/CAM systems, 3D scanners and digital lab management platforms. 4. Proficiency in MS Windows operating system and hardware troubleshooting. 5. Knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, wireless configuration, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
