Opportunity for temporary public works experience Public Works - Flagger/Laborer-Temporary – Wenatchee, Cashmere, and Leavenworth Districts The Chelan County Public Works Department seeks applicants for a temporary flagger/laborer for the Wenatchee, Cashmere, and Leavenworth Districts. The duties include all phases of traffic control, flagging, piloting, or buffering for equipment as directed. Assisting in manual labor as required when not flagging or working on other duties as assigned. The temporary position will be up to six months out of the year. This position requires a Washington State Driver License and Flagging Certificate. Candidates must be at least eighteen years old. The salary range is $26.08 per hour up to $28.61 per hour with overtime paid at 1½ times the hourly rate. Starting salary dependent on qualifications and experience.
