Summary: This role involves inventory management, merchandising, and providing customer service in a retail setting, requiring strong communication and sales skills. Highlights: 1. Thrive in a fast-paced environment and build customer rapport You will be responsible for inventory monitoring and purchasing, merchandising of products, and identifying and offering needed services in a customer-facing retail setting. Basic Responsibilities: Welcome in and identify customer needs Explain products and services to customers Maintain current industry knowledge Enter and process customer orders into online-based POS system Investigate and resolve any customer concerns Use online sales metrics to strategically purchase inventory weekly Monitor inventory regularly and adjust as needed, to ensure store product offerings are in order Communicate between vendors and management as needed Serve as a generalized conduit in information flow between coworker(s) and management. Qualifications: Previous experience in retail sales floor management, including inventory management and purchasing. Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields. Proven ability to work and communicate within a team environment. Basic salesmanship skills: identifying customer needs, product demos/explanations, transaction completions. Vapor product experience , and/or industry knowledge is a huge plus (not necessary, but must be able to learn quickly). Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and build rapport with customers. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation skills. Must have the ability to task manage and complete in-store projects on time, while keeping up with customer needs. Must have basic computer skills, with ability to interact with online software programs, search engines, websites, Excel, etc. Must be able to accurately manage register cash: basic till counting, pulling end-of-shift reports, and filling out bank drop sheets.
