Opportunity to work independently on a set route De Janeiro is looking for a part-time Driver to begin work immediately. This employee would go through our daily route doing deliveries in the company truck (it's a small box truck). Any candidates would need to have a valid driver's license to be considered. This job entails reporting to our warehouse in Brooklyn at 7:30 AM, and driving our truck to each one of our Manhattan store locations, along with the driver's helper. This part-time job starts at 7:00 AM (or 7:30 AM if preferred) and ends at 1:00 PM. Starting wage is $17.00 per hour, with opportunities for raises down the road. Daily Rundown: You and the driver's helper will begin the route at 7:30 AM. At each store location, you will help the driver's helper with the boxes for that store location. Once all the boxes for that store have been delivered, you and the driver's helper will then take all incoming transfer boxes, cardboard, and trash bags that the store has to give you. You will repeat this at every location throughout the route. When the route is finished, you will return to the warehouse, unload the trash and cardboard on the curb, and load up the truck for the following day.
