In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing seafood products to ensure quality, freshness, and cost-effectiveness. You are responsible for accounting for and maintaining inventory levels, strong vendor relationships, and deliver exceptional seafood offerings to our customers. Duties Source high-quality seafood products by evaluating supplier options and negotiating favorable terms to secure the best pricing and delivery conditions. Manage vendor relationships through regular communication, via ohone calls, email + text. Responsible for purchase order creation, inventory management, and procurement tracking. Oversee inventory control processes by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular audits. Collaborate with management to optimize sourcing, reduce costs, and improve product availability. Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities, vendor communications, and inventory data. Qualifications Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards. Proven experience in procurement or seafood related jobs Knowledge of supply chain management principles including inventory management, sourcing strategies, and vendor relationship management. Proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel), data analysis, and procurement reporting tools for effective decision-making. Ability to communicate clearly with vendors and internal teams to coordinate sourcing activities efficiently. Familiarity with accounting software and inventory control systems that support purchasing operations.
