Ideal for highly organized, calm, and strong follow-up professionals Remote Signage Project Manager / Installation Coordinator About the Role LED Sign City is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Remote Project Manager to manage the post-sale lifecycle of commercial LED sign projects. Once a customer places an order, this person will be responsible for helping turn that order into a completed project. You will coordinate between customers, production, installers, vendors, permitting offices, shipping carriers, and internal team members to keep each project moving forward. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, calm under pressure, strong with follow-up, and able to manage many moving parts without letting details fall through the cracks. Key Responsibilities Project Setup & Handoff Convert closed sales orders into organized project plans with clear tasks, timelines, owners, and next steps. Customer Communication Serve as the main post-sale contact for customers, providing clear updates, setting expectations, and keeping the project experience organized and professional. Installer & Vendor Coordination Source, contact, vet, schedule, and manage local installers, surveyors, electricians, and subcontractors as needed. Site Survey & Installation Coordination Coordinate site surveys, installation requirements, photos, measurements, mounting details, access requirements, and installer readiness. Permitting Support Assist with permit coordination, zoning requirements, sign code research, permit documents, and communication with local municipalities. Production & Shipping Follow-Up Coordinate internal production milestones, drawings, approvals, crating, shipping, delivery timing, and installation readiness. Timeline & Budget Control Track deadlines, project costs, vendor quotes, change orders, and project margins to help ensure jobs stay on schedule and within budget. Issue Resolution Identify problems early, escalate when needed, and help resolve delays related to permits, drawings, shipping, production, customer approvals, or installers. Process Improvement Document recurring issues, improve workflows, update checklists, and help build a repeatable project management system so the same problem does not happen twice. Qualifications & Skills Project Management Experience 3+ years of project management, operations coordination, construction coordination, signage, manufacturing, or field-service experience preferred. Installer / Vendor Management Experience coordinating subcontractors, field technicians, installers, or outside vendors is strongly preferred. Software Skills Experience using Zoho Projects, Zoho CRM, Asana, Monday.com, ClickUp, Trello, or similar project management software. Communication Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to manage customers, vendors, and internal team members professionally. Organization & Follow-Up Strong ability to manage multiple active projects, track details, follow up consistently, and keep tasks from slipping. Problem Solving Comfortable handling delays, unclear site conditions, permit issues, customer questions, vendor problems, and changing project requirements. Remote Work Discipline Able to work independently in a remote environment while staying highly responsive and accountable. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is not just a task-checker.
