About the Environmental Project Manager Role Plans and directs all onsite activities client locion in relion to the storage, transportion and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes and other reled services following federal, ste & local regulions. Manages and plans activities of onsite personnel. Serves as liaison between client and vendors in relion to service issues and contract management. Maintains pre-established standards for safety and environmental issues. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Coordine logistics for transportion of hazardous and non-hazardous waste from client site including profiling, scheduling, manifesting and physically loading bulk and drum loads. Consult with client to identify, design and implement cost saving opportunities and proposals. Ensure compliance with client and government regulions by performing necessary inspections and reporting. Resolve all issues in a timely manner. Administer client and vendor financial obligions including invoicing, reporting and contracts. Promote culture of safety by ensuring site personnel are properly trained to perform assigned duties and comply with safety, environmental, federal, ste and local regulions. May occasionally be required to perform labor-intensive activities (e.g., drum collection and bulking). Qualificions Required Qualificions Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Environmental Sciences, Accounting, Business or reled field, or in lieu of degreeHigh School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relevant work experience. 2 years of relevant work experience (in addition to the educion requirement) HAZWOPER Certificion RCRA and DOT regulory compliance experience OSHA 24-Hour Certificion Pre-assignment and/or pre-hire customer-specific drug and/or alcohol testing may be required by certain customer-contract requirements. Such testing may include urinalysis, oral swab, drug hair follicle testing and/or alcohol testing. Preferred Qualificions Forklift certificion preferred Project Management Profit and loss (budgeting) Customer service and vendor management.
