Brief Summary includes: Assistant Director of Housekeeping is responsible for assisting the Executive Director with day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping department, including but not limited to guest room floors, public areas, laundry and linen. Responsibilities include: staff training, inter-department communications, and staff scheduling. Overall responsibility for the cleanliness of the hotel.
Essential Responsibilities Includes: 10 out 10 results for guest satisfaction, providing services, room and public areas cleanliness hotel metrics.
Daily Activities May Include:
• Managing team member schedules and time-off requests
• Reviewing upcoming guest arrivals and departures in scheduling software
• Building and communicating cleaning schedules
• Assigning cleaning staff to properties
• Coordinating with Team Leads to ensure timely staff arrival
• Reviewing and assigning maintenance work orders
• Monitoring real-time communications for urgent requests
• Ordering and managing supplies
• Meeting with Executive Director of Housekeeping
Primary Duties:
• Report to the Executive Director of Housekeeping
• Lead housekeeping and maintenance functions for East and North Shores
• Manage team member schedules and hours
• Create and distribute cleaning schedules to the broader team
• Develop maintenance schedules in coordination with Executive Director
• Ensure accurate property turnover times
• Act as daily coordinator between housekeeping teams and maintenance staff
• Work closely with Executive Director to assess and maintain quality standards
• Support property managers and owners
Team Leadership Responsibilities:
• Oversee all aspects of property turnovers
• Prepare daily supplies for each team member
• Ensure staff arrive on time to assigned properties
• Inspect cleaned properties and update tracking software
• Conduct post-departure property preparation and report any issues
• Manage laundry and supply inventory
• Coach team members on quality improvements
Compensation Package:
The following benefits:
• Two weeks paid vacation after your first year of employment; two weeks paid vacation
per year thereafter

Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a team
• Related housekeeping experience

Annual Salary Range, (Based on Experience): $57,000 to $70,000.
