Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of all menu items Servers Needed at Snow City Cafe The server’s primary responsibility is to ensure guest satisfaction and drive sales. Their energy is “up and out”. Basic duties are to take guest orders, serve food and beverages, accept payments, and bus tables. Another essential function is to advocate for the guest and give your best service 100% of the time. Operations Greets every guest warmly and promptly Works with other staff to ensure the dining room is clean and organized at all times. Is constantly pre-bussing, picking up trash from the floor, straightening tables and chairs, etc. as needed. Completes all opening, ongoing, and closing side work Is timely in all aspects of service; the greeting, beverage and food orders and delivery, guest check drop off and pick up Recognizes a difficult situation (i.e., long ticket times) and communicates proactively and effectively with the guest Pre-stages all courses at the table with plates, silverware, condiments, and any other necessary items Knows and communicates any food & drink specials and the soup of the day Knows all the point of sale functions and can navigate quickly and efficiently on screen Is knowledgeable about food allergens and takes any allergy or dietary restriction requests seriously Accurately executes all sales transactions and consistently utilizes restaurant accounting systems Ensures all food and beverages are presented properly before delivering to the guests Has a clear understanding of the ABC regulations and restaurant policies.
