Hands-on role focusing on high-quality food and dining experiences Croasdaile Country Club is seeking a passionate, member-focused Executive Chef to lead our culinary program. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong culinary skills, cost control, team development, and collaboration with club management. The Executive Chef will lead menu development, oversee daily kitchen operations, and ensure consistency, safety, and fiscal responsibility. The Executive Chef is responsible for all culinary operations of the club, delivering high-quality food and dining experiences that meet the expectations of the membership. Key Responsibilities • Oversee daily food production for dining rooms, events, and special functions • Create seasonal menus that balance classic club favorites with creative touches • Lead and work alongside the kitchen team, training and mentoring staff all while fostering a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement • Manage food purchasing, inventory, and cost controls • Establishes controls to minimize food and supply waste • Attends and participates in all F&B staff and management meetings • Maintains physical presence during times of high business volume • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and organization • Collaborate with management on member events, tournaments, and special functions • Engage with members, welcome feedback, and adapt menus to preferences • Ensure smooth daily operations with attention to detail and quality • Stay current with culinary trends while respecting traditional club favorites Ideal Candidate • Exceptional cooking skills • A hands-on chef who enjoys cooking daily and leading by example • 5+ years of culinary experience, with leadership experience preferred • Strong understanding of food cost management and kitchen efficiency • Organized, reliable, and personable with a passion for hospitality • Culinary degree preferred but not required • ServSafe certified or willing to obtain • Knowledge of current culinary trends and classic techniques Schedule & Compensation • Full-time, year-round position • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays • Competitive salary based on experience • Health, dental, and vision insurance • Paid time off and holidays • Club privileges (as applicable) Why Join Us • Close-knit membership and staff • Opportunity to shape the culinary program • Creative freedom within a supportive environment • Stable, respectful workplace culture
