Apply Now Role Overview: Sodexo powered by &friends is seeking an Executive Chef for Providence Academy, a private K-12 school in Johnson City, TN     You will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of the &friends brand and bringing its vision to life. That means embracing a dining experience built around flavor‑forward meals, flexible spaces, engaging events, and a culture where students can shine, chill, belong, and grow. Great food & great community.   Set in the vibrant Tri‑Cities region, Johnson City offers a lively downtown, strong community feel, and easy access to mountain trails, lakes, and scenic views. What You'll Do: be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production; oversee the PrimeroEdge food management system menu development; ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented and maintained; oversee catering functions  have the ability and willingness to motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline (hourly-paid staff); provide stellar customer/client service; ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.
