Summary: Assist Camp Counselors in providing care, leadership, and companionship to campers ages 6-11, focusing on STEM concepts through hands-on activities. Highlights: 1. Lead group games and encourage camper participation. 2. Help campers learn STEM concepts through hands-on activities. 3. Prepare materials for playful science activities. As a Camp Assistant, you will work with Camp Counselors to provide care for campers ages 6-11, provide leadership and companionship, and help campers learn about STEM concepts through hands-on activities. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ● Camper Supervision: Help supervise campers throughout the camp day. Encourage campers to participate. Lead group games, select free choice time materials and get to know campers throughout each session of camp. ● Activity Preparation: Prepare materials and help lead hands-on, playful science activities with campers.
