Support clients in diverse work shifts Boost Collaborative, a nonprofit community rehabilitation services provider in Pullman, WA, is accepting applications for Job Support Specialist. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide direct support to adults with disabilities as they acquire a new job and/or provide support and encouragement to promote independence and professional growth for those experienced in their jobs. Required knowledge, skills, abilities • Physical requirements, in include driving throughout the local and regional community to provide in-person support to assigned clientele. • Navigate in and out of employment locations including non-ADA compliant environments, light lifting, pushing, pulling. • Oral communication with clients and employers. • Strong writing and observation skills. • No criminal background – a criminal background check is required of all staff prior to starting. • High school diploma or equivalent with two (2) years direct professional experience working with adults with disabilities in vocational, social, living skills, or other clinical training environment. • Two (2) years of college or higher education in a related field of study may substitute for professional experience on year-for-year exchange. • Bachelor of Arts/Science in Special Education, Psychology, or Human Development preferred. Work Schedule • Part time up to 35 hours per week. • Weekly hours may vary to support assigned clientele in various work shifts including evenings and weekends. • Remote work would not meet client needs.
