New Horizons, a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to serving individuals with special needs, is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals for our MMDP program. About Us: We have been providing exceptional care and support to individuals with special needs for over 60 years. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for individuals with disabilities and promote their independence and inclusion in the community. About the Role: As a Direct Support Professional in our MMDP program, you will provide one-on-one support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities. You will help individuals achieve their goals and engage in meaningful activities. You will assist with daily living tasks, personal care, medication administration, and community integration. This is a part time position Weekly hours can range from 20-30 hours a week Monday-Friday 9am-4pm Rate: $20.50 Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience working with individuals with special needs or developmental disabilities is preferred Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Pass a background check and drug screening Benefits 30+ work hours eligible for part-time benefits (Medical, Vision & Dental) Paid sick leave Differential rates for Holidays All paid trainings including CPR/First Aide Discounts Program Referral Program FSA And more...
