Summary: The Classroom Assistant works cooperatively with staff and volunteers to supervise children and meet their individual needs in a group setting. Highlights: 1. Meet individual needs of children in a group setting Classroom Assistants needed in multiple areas, Eureka, Fortuna, Arcata. Under the supervision of the Center Teacher, the Classroom Assistant is responsible for working cooperatively with the classroom staff and volunteers to ensure that the children are appropriately supervised and that their individual needs are being met in the group setting. This is a non-exempt part time position. Position is part time; however applicant will need to be available for a Monday through Thursday or Monday through Friday schedule depending on program need.
