The Dispch Coordinor position is responsible for Driver dispch operions in the Transportion Department. Must have a Class A license. Wh you'll do as a Dispch Coordinor: Prepare daily records and memos and maintain filing system for Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports. Complete transportion pouches including route manifests, invoices, special customer notificions, maps and stores keys for drivers. Develop and upde driver and helper dispch schedule daily. Understand DOT hours of service and ensure driver compliance. Set up daily tractor/trailer assignment for drivers. Verify roadworthiness and keep maintenance records for tractors and trailers. Call customers to inform them of variances in delivery times. Expedite driver manifests and highlight keys. Provide timely reports to immedie supervisor as requested. Possess very strong interpersonal skills and be able to discuss dispch issues with Driver Specialists, Customers and managers. Meet this position's physical demands. Other duties may be assigned. Qualificions you'll bring as a Dispch Coordinor Teamme: High School Diploma. CDL Knowledge of mainframe computer software (PeopleSoft) reling to record keeping/scheduling for drivers and helpers. Preferred experience in Windows environment and on Excel, Microsoft Word, and Access programs; or similarprograms. Have 2 years in similar function (preferred). Map reading abilities. Understanding of distribution systems. Ability to communice in various methods with different levels. Mhemical ability for maintaining schedules. Understanding of dispch issues and procedures. This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English a level sufficient to perform job-reled tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communicions essential to the role.
