Training offered for the right candidate About the Role BBA Management is seeking a thorough and professional Maintenance Technician to maintain the condition of our residential units and building common areas across Greater Boston. This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking for a flexible, hands-on role within a supportive team. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Compensation & Schedule Pay: $30 to $40 Hourly (Commensurate with experience). A higher hourly rate is offered for after-hours and weekend work Performance based annual bonus is also offered Flexibility: We can work around your schedule. Plus: Availability for "on-call" emergency duties during after-hours/weekends is a significant plus. Responsibilities Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following areas of routine, preventative and emergency maintenance. You should be able to do at least 5 of these: Electrical Plumbing Caulking and Grouting HVAC Appliance Repair Locks & Keys Basic Carpentry Painting and Drywall Repair Janitorial, Grounds and Snow Removal Cleaning General Repairs: Perform maintenance requests, including painting, masonry, carpentry, and plumbing. Systems & Appliances: Help maintain HVAC, electrical systems, and household appliances. Property Upkeep: Handle snow removal, janitorial tasks, and unit turnovers/inspections. Collaboration: Work both independently and alongside senior maintenance staff in a timely, organized manner. Qualifications Reliability: Must be punctual and possess a reliable vehicle. Credentials: A valid driver’s license is required. Physicality: Ability to lift more than 50 pounds. Experience: Prior trade experience is helpful, but we prioritize a professional attitude and communication skills. This job requires US work authorization
