Good communication, organization, and professionalism required We are looking for a Full Time (40 hours a week) Custodian/Entry Level Maintenance Technician to service common areas and apartments at apartment communities in El Cajon and North Park. The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and in a team environment. Good communication, organization and professionalism are required. Key responsibilities include but limited to: • Perform a variety of routine jobs like picking up trash, sweeping and cleaning common areas, laundry rooms, vacant units and dumpster areas • Care and maintain property equipment • Follow safety protocols • Regularly lift and move objects that may weigh up to 35 pounds • Able to use own hand tools to perform basic maintenance assignments • Follow verbal and written directions • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: • Knowledge of methods, materials, and equipment used in building housekeeping and light duty maintenance work • Experience in property management custodial work is helpful but not required. Requirements: • Monday through Saturday • Possess a cell phone for communication with supervisor and office • High School graduate or equivalent • Possess driver’s license, automobile and automobile insurance • Some experience as a facility custodian is required • Some experience as a maintenance tech helpful but not required • Offer of employment is contingent upon successfully passing background screening (criminal background check & passing drug test at a certified testing facility).
