Wheelchairs Anonymous is a new social media platform for wheelchair users. With both online and local meetings held weekly or monthly. Members can join and become advocates for other wheelchair users. Remember. The only disability is a bad attitude. Wheelchairs Anonymous is a growing network for wheelchair users. Welcoming all organizations like the United Spinal Association, Paralyzed Veterans of America, and SPINALpedia, Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, Muscular Dystrophy Association. Wheelchairs Anonymous offers peer to peer mentoring, advocacy, and social connections. Founded in Springfield Missouri by CEO John Freeman who has suffered a spinal stroke and with his positive mindset built the ground work for an amazing social connection system. Not only will global wheelchair users be able to help one another through peer support. But will be able to create local chapters of Wheelchairs Anonymous groups across the nation and meet within local social settings such as library's, hospitals and more in the same way AA and NA meetings take place. Open discussion and local resource gatherings. Together We can take back the stigma of using a wheelchair. Together we can be proud of the life we are forced to live.
