Collaborate with internal and external security offices and business areas Apply Now Description The Nional Security Sector Leidos is seeking an experienced Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) for a growing program to work our Chantilly, VA site. This is an opportunity to use your experience primarily supporting SCI programs in support of our operions. Primary Responsibilities Responsible for the security oversight and management of the security program. Implementing the industrial security program and ensuring company and customer security requirements are met. The CPSO will interface with all levels of Leidos personnel and government management personnel to ensure contract security compliance with Nional Industrial Security Opering Manual 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), DoD 5220.22-M, Contract Security documents and Program Classificion Guides. Requires a self-motived candide th is capable of working in an independent or team environment with minimal direction and gre communicion. The CPSO must possess the confidence to make critical security decisions concerning high value contracts and to implement security procedures th will prevent unauthorized access to company and government facilities or informion. Provide clear guidance to company employees and recommend modificions to operions policies or procedures as approprie. Administer day-to-day security program(s), personnel processing, program reviews, document control system and audits. Violion/infraction investigions & reports, receipt/dispch/destruction/mail logs, visit certs, etc. Provide technical security experience in the following security disciplines: personnel, physical/industrial, computer investigions and operions. Prepare and dissemine security requirements, guidance, and procedures. Coordine Entrance on Duty (EOD) for incoming personnel. Conduct SCI briefings/debriefings for program personnel. Responsible for the management and maintenance of IC badges in collaborion with Leidos Security Service Center (SSC) and Gov’t Customers. Collabore with members of the DoD, IC and other officials as required to maintain knowledge and understanding of current security requirements. Monitor, upde and maintain personnel/program records (e.g. dabase and hardcopy) of security actions. Coordine program required informion with internal and external security offices and business areas. Interpret security policies on mters pertaining to processing, disseminion and controlling of classified merial. Monitor and manage security operions and provide stus reports and recommendions. Cree, manage and execute Security Awareness and CI training informion. Work closely and collabore with internal and external managers to ensure understanding of program operions. Ability to work long hours as required. Experience in Creing and Authoring Security Volumes for Request for Proposals. Basic Qualificions Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of relevant experience. Additional years experience may be used in lieu of a degree. Requires deep knowledge of discipline to manage highly complex or specialized projects/process improvements Requires strong communicion both internally and externally Uses influence and expert knowledge in presenting solutions/approaches Thorough working knowledge of the NISPOM, other government regulions (e.g. Intelligence Community Directives (ICD), and Security Executive Agent Directives (SEADs) Self-starter with ability to work independently and with little supervision in customer facilities Commitment to security - creing and delivering the highest value to customers Strong background utilizing Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint Evalue and interpret clearance decisions made by government customers Ability to interpret company and government security policies and apply them to program operions Strong understanding of Physical Security requirements of ICD 705 to meet contractual needs Ability to manage Sensitive Compartmented Informion programs Thorough understanding and working experience with government and corpore security dabases such as NISS, DISS, eQIP and SIMS Thorough experience consoliding SCI nominion packages for submission to customer. Experience reviewing SF 86s, Foreign Contact Forms and other supplemental forms Experience creing and conducting initial security briefings, debriefings, indoctrinions, pre/post foreign travel briefings and refresher briefings, as approprie Strong communicion skills, both oral and written with the ability to conduct oral briefings Candides must possess an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility Preferred Qualificions: Experience managing large complex programs and leading a team FSO, CPSO or CSSO Security training/certifice(s) Familiarity with SIMS Experience with Sctered Castles Experience developing and implementing security Standard Opering Procedures (SOPs) and emergency action plans Knowledge of Access Control and Intrusion Detection Systems Experience conducting security incident inquiries/reports Resourceful in solving problems and capitalizing on opportunities Member of Security Organizions/affiliions (e.g. ISWG or NCMS) If you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
