This position is located in Bethesda, MD and is a remote/hybrid position. Responsibilities: This role’s responsibilities include but are not limited to: Mentor junior engineers/analysts on the network tools team § Support the Tools Team Lead’s objectives Assist with reviewing threshold and performance monitoring to enhance reporting of metrics to inform trend analysis and capacity planning. Assist with tool enhancement recommendations to improve CIT’s ability to detect and eliminate threats. Optimize CIT’s existing comprehensive suite of tools used to manage the NIH networks. Assist with the detailed recommendations for augmenting and consolidating tools to maximize functionality and return on investments. Proactively test and implement vendor upgrades and patches by following the appropriate change and configuration management processes, while validating and maintain compliance with security requirements. Contribute domain knowledge towards the System Accreditation and Authorization documentation.
