Collaborate across technical teams and stakeholders Apply Now MANTECH seeks a motived, career and customer-oriented Principal Network Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA.   The Principal Network Engineer will leverage their strong technical background and knowledge to provide advanced engineering expertise to design, implement, secure, and sustain complex enterprise network environments. This role supports critical customer missions by collaboring across technical teams and stakeholders to deliver resilient, highly available, and secure network solutions.   Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Prioritizing technical and operional requirements based on project and mission needs. Interacting with engineers, cross-functional teams, and customers multiple levels to gher, coordine, and deliver technical informion. Analyzing current workflows and providing recommendions to improve efficiencies based on customer requirements. Working closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot and build complex, highly available network topologies. Performing engineering support and system administrion for applicions and systems, including installion, configurion, maintenance, and pching. Providing Tier 2/3 maintenance and engineering support for deployed network and cybersecurity technologies. Developing and implementing automion solutions for repetitive project tasks and metrics collection using scripting.   Minimum Qualificions: Bachelor’s degree or 4+ additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.   5+ years of experience with Network Engineering. Knowledge of Windows and Linux systems, opering system security practices, TCP/IP networking, and network security concepts. Experience deploying, upgrading, and troubleshooting multi-vendor network equipment and solutions, such as Juniper, Palo Alto, F5, and Nutanix. Experience working with Linux opering systems and scripting to support complex da flows. Experience creing, maintaining, and communicing complex informion technology documention, particularly network and security documention. Must have or be willing to obtain an IAT Level II (or higher) certificion within 6 months of hire.   Preferred Qualificions : Knowledge of Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) technologies on the NCDSMO approved products list. Understanding of architectural principles such as defense in depth, resilience, and integred security operions. Familiarity with federal cybersecurity guidance, including NIST SP 800-37 (Risk Management Framework) and NIST SP 800-137. In-depth understanding and practical experience with LANs, firewalls, routers, and switches.   Clearance Requirements: An active TS/SCI with Polygraph.   Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stionary position 50%. Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Frequently communices with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentions.
