At Qualitel, we are committed to helping our employees achieve secure, healthy, and self-sufficient lives PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the safe handling of materials and goods, including: • Kitting work orders and prepping parts. • Handling and organizing inventory, including cycle counting. • Operating and maintaining automated storage and retrieval systems, including Juki, Modula, and Visiconsult X-Ray parts counters. • Other duties as required to support our production teams. ROLE REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to read and understand English written instructions. • Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus). • Comfortable using computers (knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook is a bonus). • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. • Strong teamwork skills; ability to work independently as well. • Strong critical thinking and attention to detail. • Excellent attendance record. • Willingness to learn and operate new technologies and systems. WHAT YOU WILL LEARN: • Comprehensive training on material handling systems, including Aptean ERP, Access databases, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook. • Operation of advanced automated storage systems like Juki, Modula, and the Visiconsult X-Ray parts counter. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: • High school diploma or equivalent (GED). • At least one year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • Strong problem-solving and reasoning skills. • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position requires manual dexterity and the ability to stand for long periods of time (80-90% of the shift). Visual requirements include close vision, color differentiation, and the ability to adjust focus.
