Develop expertise in commercial/residential component and new product design Looking for a qualified candidate to use SolidWorks to design and draw all types of products and projects. We design, fabricate, machine and weld. Shop does work across multiple industries. • Performs drafting and design work for commercial/residential components and projects: from custom home architectural metal to new product development. • Has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision • Has the ability to read, interpret, and draft new and modify existing CAD drawings • Working effectively and efficiently both independently and as a part of a team • Must have a strong willingness to learn drafting, along with an ability to learn quickly and have the initiative to further their knowledge of engineering and construction on a consistent basis. • Must have a high degree of attention to detail Qualifications: • Computer knowledge/experience with Microsoft Office, i.e. Word and Excel. • SolidWorks experience • Must have mechanical ability • Experience in structural and architectural metal • Excellent and professional communication skills, both with colleagues and with clients • Self-motivated and can work both independently and as part of a team NOTE: • This is an in-office full time position; contract or remote workers will not be considered • Only applicants with the design or drafting education and/or experience in CAD will be considered for this position • Please respond with resume.
