About the Role
ToltHawk is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Part-Time Electronics Assembly & Test Technician to assist with the assembly, soldering, and testing of electronic devices used for environmental and flood monitoring applications. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on electronics work, flexible scheduling, and contributing to small-team product development and production.
Schedule & Compensation
-Type: Part-Time
-Hours: Flexible (to be coordinated weekly)
-Compensation: Hourly wage, based on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Perform light electronics soldering and component assembly on circuit boards and device housings
- Conduct functional testing of electronic devices using computer-based tools and test software
- Follow assembly instructions, checklists, and quality control procedures
- Maintain organized workstations and accurate build/test records
- Assist with packaging, labeling, and light inventory tasks as needed
Required Qualifications
- Basic electronics assembly and light soldering skills
- Comfortable using computers and software tools for device testing
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to follow written and visual instructions
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently in a small-team environment
Preferred (Not Required)
- Ability to read and interpret basic electronics schematics
- Prior experience with electronics manufacturing or prototyping
- Customer support or phone communication experience
