Automating UPC extraction and PDF searching I need someone who understands modern software design for working with bar codes. But I need to be accomplished at working with some old programming related to batch file and/or macro operations. That is, to combine several commands together to process data more quickly after it is extracted. The essence of the problem is that any cell phone will scan a bar code and extract the UPC automatically. But I need a program that will take this UPC value and then run it through a PDF file's search engine. Then produce the right value being properly displayed inside the PDF file. It is something that can be done by hand through several steps - but I want it done in one step through the batch command/macro type of operation.
