Summary: We are seeking culinary professionals to support mobile food service operations for first responders and military in temporary remote base camps. Highlights: 1. Fast-paced environment We are looking for employees interested in supporting our base camp food service operations. Our company provides remote feeding for first responders, military, oil & gas, and others. These locations vary, however ours are primarily in the Western United States. Our teams operate in mobile food service units and feed between 50-5000 personnel at a time. We are looking for people to fill the following positions: - Line Cooks - Prep Cooks Specifically we are looking for people with fast food, quick-service, or large scale catering/institutional feeding operations. Must be able to work in fast pace environment. We are based in Sacramento, however 95% of the work will be at offsite locations. The company will provide housing and meals while traveling. This is a temporary and seasonal positions which is primarily involved with Wildfire base camp operations in the summer months. Requirements/notes: - Ability to travel for work and be away for periods of up to 90 days. Average assignment 14-30 days - Base camps are an alcohol and drug free environment. Zero tolerance allowed while working at camps. - The company has some mobile bunkhouses, however at times lodging will be in tents/yurts. - Shifts can vary in length form 8-16 hours per day, depending on the size of project. - Pay is bi-weekly with direct deposit available - Base hourly rates from $22-25/hr with total weekly comp averaging $2000-3000 per week.
