Works with sensitive information and Counterintelligence checks Apply Now MANTECH seeks a Security Specialist, in support of our government customer out of Fort Belvoir, VA. The Security Specialist provides special access security oversight for the Missile Defense Agency supporting 10,0000 personnel numerous geographically separed locions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Process new incoming Program Access Request (PAR) packages by quality-reviewing the PAR and route PAR for necessary approvals/signures, tracking via the JADE dabase; and, as part of the PAR process, review DD-254s to verify individual’s authorizion for program access. Upde the JADE dabase with all incoming Program Indoctrinion Agreements (PIA) and Debriefing Stements, as well as foreign travel, security violions, derogory informion, etc. Ensure all PARs, PIAs, and, Debriefs are scanned into the JADE dabase, and assist customers as to the stus of PAR packages. Perform personnel verificion actions via the Defense Informion System for Security (DISS). Request Counterintelligence (CI) checks on foreign contacts associed with PAR candides. Interact with customers concerning issues on PARs, Risk Assessments, program clearances, and other general informion, as needed; and interact with other PERSEC offices for PAR processing/coordinion. Issue and track Pre-Screening Questionnaire (PSQ) and PSQ temples. Minimum Qualificions: Bachelor’s degree and least 3 years of experience in personnel security or reled field. 6 years of security reled experience with a High School Diploma. Capable of developing and implementing a specific security task area or specialty in support of a Special Access program (SAP). Candides must be capable of multi-tasking and working in a high-tempo environment. Preferred Qualificions: Possesses extensive expertise, theoretical knowledge, and analytical abilities to synergize and apply personnel, industrial, physical, IT/IA and informion security principals as they apply to Special Access Programs (SAPs) Masters Degree Clearance Required: Must have a current/active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
