In this role, you will design, maintain, and secure LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN networks, ensure optimal performance, and collabore with IT teams, while quickly adapting to new technologies and organizional needs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Design, configure, and deploy LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and reled network infrastructure. Maintain and troubleshoot hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers) and resolve tier-3 network issues. Monitor performance, conduct capacity planning, and implement upgrades for optimal uptime. Configure and manage network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, and access controls. Collabore with IT teams to integre networks with servers, applicions, cloud services, and maintain detailed documention. Local travel may be required between customer buildings or temporary assignment to an alterne locion in support of special projects. Work collaborively as part of a team during 8-hour shifts scheduled between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM Basic Qualificions High School Diploma with 8+ years of experience, an Associe’s Degree with 6+ years of experience, or a Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of experience. Proven experience in network engineering, administrion, or reled roles in the customer environment. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and network security protocols. Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar networking hardware. Proficiency with network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Nagios). Preferred Qualificions: Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and tention-to-detail skills with excellent organizion; able to quickly adapt to changing tasks and learn new skills on the job. Effective communicor with solid documention abilities, able to work independently or collaborively in a team environment. Experience with ServiceNow ITSM & ITBM.   Clearance Requirements: Must have an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. Physical Requirements Must be able to remain in a stionary position least 50% of the time. Constantly opere a computer, phone, and other office equipment for extended periods of time. Must be able to move/traverse within and between buildings and offices, position self to maintain equipment and cabling, including under the desks, while moving floor tiles, and in server closets, some of which may be confined spaces. Must be able to move Audio/Visual or Computer equipment weighing 50+ pounds, some equipment may require team-lift or the use of carts. Ascends/descends a ladder, 10+ feet high while pulling cables and adjusting equipment.
