As assistant, your primary duties will include the following: - help load & unload materials & equipment from the trailer/tow vehicle - assist w/ preparing job site for setting of structure posts (either physically digging post holes or setting anchors in cement) - assisting w/ overall build of structure (nailing headers in place, drilling holes for header support bolts, etc.) - assisting w/ job site cleanup & reloading equipment, materials & job debris back onto trailer/tow vehicle This position is physically demanding as we are working w/ rough cut lumber that can weigh in excess of 200lbs. Please only respond if you are able to lift/carry this amount & are able to work outside on your feet for 8 hours a day. This position will also require you to successfully pass a background check. Finally, this position does not pay by the hour, but instead pays 20% of each jobs completed invoice.
