Administer Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Hyper-V environments IT Specialist for a business of 30-40 employees located in north-west Phoenix, Arizona. Summary Our company is hiring an IT Specialist to take comprehensive ownership of our technology infrastructure. The IT Specialist is responsible for maintaining network reliability, system security, and daily technical operations while observing safety standards and keeping accurate maintenance records. All work is performed in our modern north-west Phoenix, AZ air-conditioned facilities. Responsibilities • Configures, deploys, and manages our virtualized server environments primarily utilizing Microsoft Hyper-V. • Oversees daily networking administration, ensuring optimal routing, switch management, and firewall configurations. • Administers user accounts, device access, and group policies across both on-premises and cloud-based Active Directory. • Manages the organization's Microsoft 365 tenant, including Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint administration. • Implements and monitors robust cybersecurity protocols to protect the company's hardware, software, and sensitive data. • Executes and verifies regular system and data backups to ensure business continuity and disaster recovery readiness. • Serves as the sole helpdesk point of contact for general IT support, troubleshooting day-to-day software and hardware issues for 30 to 40 employees. • Troubleshooting processes, adjusting configurations, and adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes. • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. • Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance.
