Opportunity to support workflow with hands-on tasks Position Overview MT Geo-Tech Tools is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Controller / Logistics Coordinator to manage daily shipping operations and coordinate between Shipping, Admin, and Operations. This role involves both computer work and active movement throughout the warehouse, requiring strong organization, communication, and the ability to step in and support the team when needed. Key Responsibilities Monitor and prioritize orders (HOT / Freight / Will Call / Shipping Out) Create UPS labels and Freight BOLs Verify order details Coordinate with other departments on order status and priorities Follow up on missing items, partial orders, and delays Ensure all documentation is complete for billing Need all orders are staged by end of day Perform final checks before shipment Hands-On Support Assist with packing, staging, or freight prep when needed to maintain workflow Qualifications Strong attention to detail and organization Ability to multitask and prioritize Good communication and problem-solving skills Comfortable with computers, spreadsheets, and systems Preferred: Shipping/logistics, warehouse, or administrative experience Work Environment Indoor warehouse setting (not climate-controlled; can be warm) Fans available for airflow Active role: standing, walking, and moving around Dress Code Steel-toe footwear required (boots or steel-toe tennis shoes) No loose or baggy clothing Schedule Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pay $20 – $24 per hour (based on experience) What We’re Looking For Someone dependable, organized, and proactive who takes ownership and catches mistakes before they become problems.
