Growing company with long-term opportunity Hybrid Fab is a turnkey decorative railing subcontractor specializing in custom metal and glass railing systems for commercial construction projects. We partner with general contractors, architects, and developers to deliver high-quality architectural railing solutions throughout Texas and beyond. We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager with 3–5 years of construction project coordination or subcontractor experience to support our growing operations team. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced construction environment. Responsibilities: Project Coordination - Assist Project Managers with planning, scheduling, and execution of commercial railing projects - Coordinate project timelines, labor schedules, materials, and installation activities - Track project progress and help maintain schedules and budgets Documentation Management - Manage project documentation including contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, drawings, and project correspondence - Maintain organized and accurate project files Client & Vendor Communication - Communicate with general contractors, vendors, suppliers, and field personnel - Participate in project meetings and provide project status updates - Help resolve project issues and maintain strong client relationships Site & Field Coordination - Conduct occasional site visits to monitor project progress and installation activities - Coordinate with field crews and installers to address scheduling or site concerns - Ensure compliance with project specifications and safety requirements Financial & Administrative Support - Assist with budgeting, invoicing, purchase orders, and cost tracking - Support material procurement and vendor coordination - Identify and communicate potential project delays or cost impacts Quality & Safety - Support company quality standards throughout all phases of project execution - Promote adherence to OSHA and job-site safety requirements Team Collaboration - Work closely with project managers, estimators, fabrication teams, and installers - Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency - Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a team-oriented environment Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in construction project coordination, assistant project management, or subcontractor operations required Experience in commercial construction strongly preferred Experience with metal fabrication, railing systems, or architectural products is a plus Strong organizational and multitasking skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required Experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, or similar software preferred Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred but not required Position Details Full-time position Competitive pay based on experience Opportunities for career growth and advancement Collaborative and fast-paced work environment Growing company with long-term opportunity If you are motivated, organized, and ready to grow your career with a company that values teamwork, accountability, and quality, we’d love to hear from you.
