Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Superintendent to lead field operations for commercial mechanical construction projects. This role is responsible for overseeing the safe, efficient, and high-quality installation of HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems on large-scale commercial job sites, ensuring all work meets project specifications, code requirements, and company standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage field crews, including foremen, journeymen, and apprentices across HVAC and plumbing scopes. Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to ensure efficient workflow. Plan and sequence work according to project schedules, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met. Interpret and enforce project blueprints, specifications, and code compliance. Conduct job site inspections for quality control, safety, and productivity. Maintain accurate field documentation including timecards, daily reports, and material tracking. Oversee material deliveries and inventory, ensuring tools and equipment are available as needed. Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to team members. Resolve field issues, RFIs, and unforeseen conflicts swiftly and effectively. Enforce OSHA and company safety standards at all times. Qualifications Minimum 7–10 years of plumbing experience in commercial mechanical construction. Prior supervisory or foreman experience required. Strong knowledge of commercial piping systems and plumbing codes. Ability to read and interpret complex construction drawings and documents. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and field management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, or equivalent).
