Organize and develop training manuals and educational materials Apply Now Wage: $75,000/ annually   JOB SUMMARY:  Plans, coordines and delivers training and staff development programs for Security Officers, Supervisors and other employees. Develops and adapts programs for specific sites and customers. Distinguishing Characteristics: Primary job function is managing training and development programs. This job description applies only to salaried positions performing essential functions of the nure described, with the authority to make independent choices, free from immedie supervision, in significant mters th affect the business, or to carry out tasks th are directly and closely reled to such work, no less than 50% of the time. In the event of uncertainty or lack of knowledge of company policies and procedures, employees are required to request clarificion or explanions from superiors or authorized company representives.    1. Supports line management in achieving training and development objectives; together with management prepares goals and objectives for training.    2. Acts to ensure compliance with legally manded and company manded training requirements; acts to ensure compliance with and documents the training requirements of service contracts.    3. Conducts needs analysis studies; identifies operional discrepancies and confers with managers and supervisors to determine training needs and approaches.    4. Formules training policies, programs and schedules, based on knowledge of identified training needs and company services; coordines training activities so as not to conflict with client service schedules.    5. Selects approprie instructional procedures or methods, such as individual training, group instruction, self study, lectures, demonstrions, simulion exercises, role playing, and computer based training.    6. Organizes and develops training manuals, reference library, testing and evaluion procedures, multimedia visual aids, and other educional merials.    7. Trains assigned instructors and supervisory personnel in effective techniques for training, such as new employee oriention, on-the-job training, health and safety practices, supervisory development, and adaptions to changes in policies, procedures, and technologies.    8. Maintains records and prepares stistical reports to evalue performance of training activities and instructors, and to monitor progress of trainees. 9. Performs tasks and duties of a similar nure and scope as required for assigned office.        MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY: Additional qualificions may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nure of the position.    MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS:  • Must be least 18 years of age. • Must have a reliable means of communicion (i.e., pager or phone).  • Must have a reliable means of transportion (public or prive).  • Must have the legal right to work in the United Stes.  • Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED. • Must be willing to participe in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigion.    Educion/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree and 1 year of training experience, or Associe’s Degree and 3 years of progressively responsible reled experience, or an equivalent combinion of educion and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company. Additional relevant experience can be substituted for the required educion on the basis of one calendar year of experience for one academic year of educion. Competencies (as demonstred through experience, training, and/or testing): • Knowledge of how adults acquire and use informion and skills, and of training techniques suitable for different learning styles.  • Skill in the use of audio-visual equipment and personal computers, including presention software. • Skill in determining training needs, including identifying the components of performance and developing stregies for achieving performance improvement. • Oral and written communicions skills; presention and group facilition skills.  • Knowledge of or ability to learn security services and operions.  • Skill in the preparion and delivery of training programs in multiple settings. • Ability to understand the security service needs of customers and devise approprie training.  • Planning, organizing, record maintenance, and project management skills.  • Skill in research and analysis.  • Skill in observion, coaching and providing feedback to employees.  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively various employee and customer levels from direct service personnel to executives, and across diverse cultures. • Strong customer service and results oriention.      WORKING CONDITIONS: (Physical/Mental Demands) With or without reasonable accommodion, requires the physical and mental capacity to perform effectively all essential functions.
