




Job Title: Uplift Technician/Installer (6141) Location: Watertown, NY 13601 Contract Length: Full Time Pay Rate: $22 per hour Overview: Install cabinets, fixtures, and equipment into vehicles to create customized, functional solutions that meet design specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities Cabinet & Equipment Installation Assemble and install cabinets, shelving, drawers, and interior fixtures according to drawings and specifications. Ensure proper alignment, secure fastening, and functionality of installed components. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment safely and effectively. Vehicle Customization & Modification Modify vehicle interiors to accommodate equipment and storage solutions. Perform drilling, cutting, fastening, and adjustments while maintaining structural integrity and finish quality. Quality Assurance Inspect components prior to installation to verify accuracy and condition. Perform in-process checks to ensure workmanship meets quality standards. Conduct final inspections to confirm installations are secure, functional, and visually acceptable. Safety & Compliance Follow all safety procedures and proper tool usage practices. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Ensure installations comply with applicable standards and company requirements. Team Coordination Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and team members to meet project timelines. Communicate issues, discrepancies, or delays promptly. Skills & Competencies Mechanical aptitude and hands-on technical skills Proficiency with hand tools and power tools Ability to read and interpret drawings and work instructions Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Problem-solving ability for installation challenges Reliability and teamwork Commitment to safety and quality Education High school diploma or equivalent Experience Vehicle upfitting, mechanical installation, carpentry, or assembly experience preferred Cabinetry, fabrication, or automotive work experience is an asset Knowledge & Skills Ability to read basic technical drawings or installation instructions Safe operation of hand tools and power tools Basic mechanical and measurement skills Ability to perform physical work for extended periods Compensation & Benefits Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
