Summary: This role involves manufacturing cable sets, assembling kits, managing inventory, packaging, unloading shipments, and ensuring quality control and safety compliance. Highlights: 1. Contribute to shipping preparation and safety compliance Location: Woodinville, WA Pay: $23.00 – $29.00 per hour Job Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday) start and end time somewhat flexible Key Responsibilities: Make Cable Sets: Follow instructions to measure, cut, assemble, crimp, and affix cable sets to equipment. Assemble Kits: Accurately pick and bundle specific combinations of parts, hardware, and materials (kitting) for internal production lines or direct customer orders. Keep Materials Organized: Maintain a clean and logical inventory system. Ensure all raw materials, tools, and finished cable assemblies are properly labeled, stored in their designated areas, and easy to locate. Package & Palletize: Securely box finished products and prepare them for outbound shipping. Build, stack, and shrink-wrap pallets to ensure goods remain stable, organized, and protected during transit. Unload Containers: Safely and efficiently unload incoming shipments from delivery trucks and shipping containers, palletize incoming shipments for storage. Quality Control: Inspect incoming materials and outgoing cable sets for defects or damages, reporting any inventory discrepancies to management. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all warehouse safety guidelines, including the safe operation of pallet jacks, hand trucks, and basic assembly tools. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a warehouse setting, shipping/receiving, or light manufacturing. Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools (prior experience with wire stripping or crimping tools is a major plus). Ability to safely lift up to 90 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods. Strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
