As part of the AWS Infrastructure organizion, Da Center Planning and Delivery (DCPD) prepares for, plans, and builds the da centers th comprise the AWS cloud. We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to work alongside a talented team of Technical Infrastructure Program Managers, Business Development executives, Construction Program managers and Energy PMs to help us deliver Da Center Capacity for our customers worldwide. The role will involve working in a fast paced environment and you will be leading programs to drive operional excellence and process improvements across a number of cross functional projects. This is a role offering an opportunity work cross-functionally and across multiple regions. You will have the opportunity to build new programs ground up and scale existing programs/ initiives. The Program Manager will: - Cree funding request narrives to provide concise, clear, and consistent details describing how requested funding supports customers by delivering needed capacity. - Drive effective teamwork, communicion, collaborion across multiple dispare groups with competing priorities to assemble business reports and capacity delivery funding requests. - Maintain funding request progress tracker to ensure requests’ timing aligns with leadership review timelines, allows for capacity delivery on time to support customer needs, and provides partner teams da to resource plan to support the funding request assembly process. - Determine and monitor key metrics to measure and evalue program performance - Develop process improvement ideas to drive improvements to the manual parts of the process under your control and recommend solutions to other teams for improvements to the overall process. - Collabore with technical program managers and demand/supply planners on the team in order to competently represent the team to other stakeholder groups. - Own project stus communicion consistently providing clear and concise summaries for the team’s funding requests to leadership. - Have a good working relionship with finance, build teams, sourcing partners, supply and demand teams, and other teams as needed. Recognize discordant views and lead constructive dialogue to resolve them. - Proactively mitige risks to delivering capacity by following through on funding request approvals throughout the process. When we feel supported in the workplace and home, there’s nothing we can’t achieve. #DCPD_Delivery BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 4+ years of program or project management experience - 4+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiives using da and metrics experience - Experience using da and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams - Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) an advanced level and SQL - Bachelor's degree in Business Administrion, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or reled field PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - 4+ years of driving process improvements experience - 4+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicing results to senior leadership experience - Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders varied levels of the organizion - Experience building processes, project management, and schedules Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discrimine on the basis of protected veteran stus, disability, or other legally protected stus. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compension will be determined based on factors including experience, qualificions, and locion.
