Bevel is a small residential remodeling company specializing in high-end remodels and additions, finish carpentry, and custom cabinetry in Seattle. We are looking for a laborer/entry-level carpenter who shares our passion for excellence and is dedicated to delivering superior results. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laborer/Entry-Level Carpenter to join our construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills in carpentry and construction while contributing to a variety of projects. As a laborer/entry-level team member, you will gain hands-on experience working alongside seasoned carpenters, helping to build and remodel homes with precision and care.
The successful applicant’s time will primarily be split between assisting with debris removal and disposal, material acquisition and staging, site protection, jobsite cleaning and maintenance, and assisting carpenters with various tasks. Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude are a must.
This position is intended for someone interested in building a long-term career in residential remodeling, with opportunities to grow into a carpenter role as skills develop.

Successful applicants should have:
Ability to read a tape measure
Interest in carpentry, residential remodeling, or construction
Personal hand tools (i.e., hammer, tape measure, nail apron, etc.) or a willingness to purchase them
Some prior construction or labor experience preferred but not required
Familiarity with power tools preferred but not required
A willingness to learn and take direction
A strong work ethic and attention to detail
Punctuality and good communication skills
Professionalism and a professional appearance
Ability to work successfully as part of a team
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to pass a background check
Ability to drive the company dump truck (CDL not required)
