Role Purpose Stement This is a high‑visibility, hands‑on leadership role for someone who thrives on the floor—engaging with teams, driving performance, and solving real‑time operional challenges.   As a Ramp Operions Supervisor, you will oversee and coordine all ground‑level activities reled to aircraft cering and loading. You’ll actively monitor safety and productivity, ensure operional readiness, and lead by example to build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.   The ideal candide: •     Excels in fast‑paced, time‑sensitive environments •     Brings 2+ years of progressive leadership experience in Distribution, Logistics, or a reled field •     Has experience managing union and/or hourly workforces •     Is proficient with workforce management scheduling and reporting tools •     Possesses basic Microsoft Office skills •     Demonstres strong communicion, problem‑solving, and team‑building abilities       We are a 24/7 facility-You must have schedule flexibility  Main Accountabilities Supervisor Responsibility •    Oversees daily ramp operions, including loading and unloading of cering equipment and supplies. •    Manages ramp personnel, including scheduling, training, and performance management. •    Ensures compliance with all safety regulions, including OSHA, FAA, and TSA guidelines. •    Conducts regular safety inspections and training sessions. •    Coordines with flight operions and cering teams to ensure timely and accure loading of aircraft. •    Monitors and optimizes ramp efficiency, including equipment utilizion and workflow. •    Resolves operional issues and problems in a timely and effective manner. •    Maintains accure records and reports on ramp activities and performance metrics. •    Collabores with other departments to ensure smooth operions and customer sisfaction. Leadership •    Guide, motive and develop staff within the Human Resources policies •    Make the company's values and management principles live in the department(s) •    Manage productivity hours and costs in the area of responsibility; initie and steer corrective actions in case of deviions •    Participe and support company sponsored initiives such as Quality, HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, Employee Safety and Production systems Knowledge, Skills and Experience •    Previous experience in ramp operions, distribution, logistics or a reled field. •    Strong leadership and supervisory skills. •    In-depth knowledge of aviion safety regulions and procedures. •    Excellent organizional and time management skills. •    Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. •    Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. •    Valid driver's license and ability to opere ground service equipment.   Nice to have skills: •    Previous airline cering or aviion logistics •    Experience with labor control and forecasting •   Strong incident reporting, compliance, and documention skills LSG Sky Chefs is an EEO and Affirmive Action Employer of Women/Minorities/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.
