Quality Assurance Technician (Spectrum Metalcraft)

The right candidate will be able to perform the following job duties: To inspect fabricated or machined component parts to engineering specifications meeting both quality and design requirements. To inspect all incoming materials and fabricated components to engineering specifications assuring all products meet quality performance and appearance standards. To assist with the control of nonconforming products by applying Hold Action Tags (HAT's), maintaining documentation logs, and facilitating timely settlement on HAT issues and participate in Material Review Board meetings. Perform Inspection on incoming materials Perform First Article Inspections Perform Quality Inspections on manufactured items Manage calibration program and perform calibrations Train Employees on proper use of inspection tools Manage Nonconforming Items Process and disposition nonconforming items Requirements High School diploma required. Technical training and or work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but we'll train the right candidates too. Experience with blue print reading and inspecting parts in a manufacturing enviournment a plus. Work hours: M-TH 6 am to 4:30 pm with possible overtime on Fridays. Vortex Companies is seeking a dedicated and Maintenance Technician to work during our weekend shift. The right applicant will be able to perform a variety of electrical and mechanical trade functions for all organization locations to keep each building, utilities, and equipment in good working order. All jobs should properly be maintained in accordance with federal, state, local, laws, regulations, and standards; this includes outdoor maintenance. Key Responsibilities: Assists in all work order requests and checks them for completeness, accuracy, duplication, and proper approvals. Perform audits, and continually improve the Preventive Maintenance Program. CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management Software) & Root Cause Analysis Support Operations Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols. Other duties as assigned. This position requires working fixed days from Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (5 a.m. - 5 p.m.) Requirements What We're Looking For: High School diploma required. Technical training and or work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, but not required. We will train the right candidate! A valid drivers license required.
