Train and lead temporary labor crews Seed Processing Line Operator – Direct Hire Opportunity 📍 Tangent, OR 💲 $23.28/hr 🕒 Full-Time | Direct Hire Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a reputable client partner seeking a dependable Seed Processing Line Operator to join their team in Tangent, OR. Key Responsibilities: • Monitor seed processing equipment during production operations • Follow procedures and documentation requirements while ensuring accurate product tagging and contamination prevention • Communicate effectively during shift changes • Ensure quality and safety standards are consistently met • Inspect and quality check product while verifying production accuracy • Interpret specifications and calibrate equipment to achieve production goals • Simultaneously operate multiple pieces of processing equipment efficiently • Monitor equipment performance, production indicators, and maintenance needs • Operate systems including HMI (Human Machine Interface) and MES (Manufacturing Execution System) • Train and lead temporary labor crews in seed processing functions • Operate forklifts to move inventory, pallets, and materials • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements • Maintain flexibility to work rotating or variable shifts as needed • Occasionally travel, drive, and/or operate forklifts for business purposes • Maintain dependable attendance and assist with additional duties as assigned Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required • Demonstrated teamwork and communication skills required • Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail required • Ability to accurately follow procedures and documentation requirements required • Ability to monitor equipment operations and identify production or maintenance concerns required • Ability to become forklift certified required • Flexibility to work rotating shifts as needed • Production or related manufacturing experience • Agricultural experience preferred • Proficient computer skills • Experience with SCADA, HMI, and MES systems preferred • General mechanical knowledge preferred • Ability to train others to operate HMI interfaces preferred Benefits Include: • Medical, dental, and vision insurance • PTO and retirement benefits • Pension plan and 401(k) with employer match • Career growth and professional development opportunities 📞 Interested?
