The Opportunity Leidos Gibbs & Cox is seeking a Junior Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to join our Systems Engineering Integrion Team in support of this cutting-edge btleship program. As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies to support the U.S. Navy Guided Missile Btleship (BBG(X)) program. This is an exciting opportunity to work on advanced naval plforms, collabore with experienced engineers and architects, and contribute to the future of maritime defense technology. Locion: This position is fully remote; however, candides must reside in the Washington, DC area and be available to tend customer meetings as needed.  Primary Responsibilities In this role, you will: Collect and organize shipbuilding artifacts and design informion from stakeholders reled to design decisions Cree, maintain, and manage Cameo Systems Modeler models Develop presention merials to communice model stus, metrics, and program updes Collabore with MBSE architects, systems engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders Support systems engineering activities throughout the design and integrion lifecycle Basic Qualificions Bachelor’s degree and less than 2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience Experience creing models in Cameo Systems Modeler Understanding of systems engineering principles, including system specificion, analysis, design, verificion, and validion Proficiency with SysML Ability to work under modere supervision and collaborively within project teams U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance Preferred Qualificions Self-motived with the ability to manage multiple tasks and navige ambiguity in a fast-paced environment Experience with Teamwork Cloud and federed models Experience supporting defense or complex systems development programs (Navy program experience preferred) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes and methodologies If you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
