Work with various tools and materials for precise ceiling installations We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Acoustical Ceiling Technician to install, repair, maintain and install suspended ceiling systems in commercial and residential settings. We are looking for a candidate that takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship. Qualifications: • 2+ years of hands-on experience installing acoustical/suspended ceiling systems • Strong knowledge of ceiling grid components including main tees, cross tees, wall angle, hanger wire, and tile types • Experience with layout tools (laser level, transit, tape measure, chalk line) and cutting tools (snips, saws, tile cutters) • Familiarity with seismic bracing requirements and proper wire tying techniques • Ability to work at heights using ladders, scaffolds, stilts, or aerial lifts • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred Key Responsibilities: • Lay out and install suspended ceiling grid systems (15/16" and 9/16" T-bar) using laser levels, chalk lines, and layout plans • Install wall angle (perimeter trim) to exact elevations to ensure level ceiling systems • Measure, cut, and fit ceiling tiles (mineral fiber, tegular, metal pan, wood, or specialty panels) with clean, precise edges • Install seismic bracing and support wires in accordance with local building codes • Frame and box out openings for lighting, diffusers, speakers, sprinkler heads, and access panels • Repair and replace damaged grid, tiles, and support systems in existing ceilings Please Call 401-291-6198 if interested and leave a message with your name and number *Please do not text this number*
