Rack & Stack business networks Job Title: Low Voltage Field Technician (1099 Part‑Time) — Seattle Area Overview We’re hiring a skilled Low Voltage Field Technician / Contractor to install point-of-sale systems, security cameras, CAT6 cabling, and small business networks across the Seattle metro area. This is a 1099 part-time role (20–30 hours/week) paying $35/hour MUST HAVE VEHICLE Key Responsibilities - Install, terminate, and test CAT6 cabling and network drops - Install, connect, configure(POS) hardware and peripherals - Mount, wire, and configure IP cameras and NVRs(if applicable) - Rack & Stack business networks (switches, routers, access points) - Follow standard OSHA-10 site safety procedures and maintain clean job sites - Perform basic system testing, documentation, and customer walk‑throughs - Coordinate with dispatch and report job status in a timely manner Required Qualifications - 2–4 years hands-on field experience with low-voltage installations (cabling, cameras, POS, network) - Proficient with cable termination, testing (certifiers/testers), and basic networking fundamentals (IP, DHCP, VLANs) - Familiarity with camera systems (PoE, NVR/DVR) and POS hardware integration - General knowledge of installation/site safety practices and proper tool use - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation - Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in varied commercial environments - Comfortable working independently as a 1099 contractor Preferred - Certifications: BICSI, CompTIA Network+, manufacturer camera or POS certifications - Experience reading blueprints/site diagrams and documenting as-built wiring Compensation & Schedule - $35.00 per hour (1099 contractor) - Part-time: 20–30 hours per week; flexible schedule based on job assignments - Travel within Seattle metro; mileage reimbursement per company policy (if applicable) How to Apply Reply here or directly @ https://hardwirepros.com/contact-us Equal opportunity for further projects in the near future ******Must be able to pass a background check to apply!!********
