Opportunity to work on a large-scale, high-impact project Now Hiring: Project Engineer (Night Shift) – Commercial Construction Location: Bagdad Mine – Bagdad, AZ Company: Jebco Construction Companies Schedule: Night Shift, 4 Days a Week, 10 hour days Job Type: Full-Time About Us Jebco Construction Companies is a trusted leader in commercial construction, delivering high-quality projects in complex and fast-paced environments. We are currently seeking a Project Engineer to support operations at the Bagdad Mine project in Arizona, working night shift to ensure continuous progress and seamless project execution. Position Overview The Project Engineer will play a critical role in supporting project management and field operations during night shift activities. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage documentation, communication, and task tracking in a dynamic construction environment. Key Responsibilities • Support project management and field teams with day-to-day construction operations • Maintain accurate project documentation using Procore • Track and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project logs • Assist with scheduling updates and coordination using the Microsoft Office Suite • Perform detailed data entry, reporting, and cost tracking in Excel • Take clear, thorough, and organized meeting and field notes • Ensure all paperwork, reporting, and documentation are completed accurately and on time • Coordinate effectively with subcontractors, field crews, and management • Monitor project progress and help identify and resolve issues proactively Required Qualifications • 2+ years of experience in commercial construction (Project Engineer or similar role preferred) • Proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) • Strong note-taking ability with excellent attention to detail • Exceptional organizational and paperwork management skills • Ability to work independently during night shift operations • Strong communication and problem-solving skills • Ability to read construction drawings and specifications Preferred Qualifications • Experience working on industrial or mining site projects • Familiarity with construction scheduling tools (Microsoft Project a plus) • OSHA certification (or willingness to obtain) Work Environment Active construction site at Bagdad Mine Night shift schedule with potential for extended hours Fast-paced environment requiring adaptability and focus What We Offer • Competitive pay based on experience • Opportunity to work on a large-scale, high-impact project • Career growth and advancement opportunities • Paid time off and holidays Apply Today If you are detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and ready to grow your career in commercial construction, we want to hear from you.
