Communicate professionally with residents and management Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and hands-on Maintenance Technician to help maintain the appearance, safety, and functionality of our mobile home community. This role involves general repairs, preventative maintenance, grounds upkeep, and responding to resident maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on homes and common areas Maintain park grounds, including mowing, trimming, trash removal, and seasonal cleanup Repair or replace fixtures, doors, windows, skirting, steps, and handrails Assist with home turnovers (cleaning, repairs, and preparation for move-ins) Respond to maintenance work orders and emergency calls when needed Inspect park infrastructure (roads, water lines, sewer connections, lighting, etc.) Ensure compliance with safety standards and community rules Communicate professionally with residents and management Keep tools, equipment, and maintenance areas clean and organized Qualifications General maintenance or handyman experience preferred Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor outdoors Must be dependable, trustworthy, and respectful with residents Preferred (but not required) Experience working in mobile home parks or property management HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certifications Bilingual (English/Spanish) Work Environment & Schedule Outdoor and indoor work in varying weather conditions On-call availability for emergencies may be required Schedule flexibility depending on park needs Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Potential housing discount (if applicable) Opportunities for advancement and additional responsibilities
