Qualified candidates must have knowledge of the metal fabrication and welding industry. Qualifications and Education Requirements: • Minimum 1-year experience in the metal fabrication industry • Experience setting up and running Shear • Knowledge of tool selection based on the part being manufactured. • Knowledge of calculating sizes using material bend allowance • Ability to read & understand design drawings • Able to inspect using calipers, height gauge, square and tape measure. • Knowledge of fraction decimal equivalents. Ex ¼=.250, 5/8=.625 • Must be able to hold high-tolerances on all work. • Must be able to work with a minimum level of supervision. • Experience driving forklift.
