Prepare parts and surfaces for paint and finishing. 2. Utilize DA sanders, needle scalers, or media blasting equipment. 3. Ensure safety procedures are followed for chemicals and ventilation. Responsibilities Include: Preparing parts, equipment, or surfaces ready for paint and finishing. Clean surfaces to remove dirt, oil, rust, grease, or old coatings. Mask and tape areas that should not be painted. Apply primers or undercoats when required. Move and stage parts or products in the paint area. Follow safety procedures for respirators, chemicals, and ventilation. Keep the work area clean and organized. Using DA sanders, needle scalers, or media blasting equipment.
