Parallel Employment group in partnership with a customer in Lancaster has an exciting opening for a Quality Control Technician. In this role, you will verify product conformance in a fast paced environment with a large range of products. Additionally you will be receiving First Piece, In-process, Last Piece, Final and First Article Inspections. Responsibilities: · Follow all company policies, procedures, and work instructions in the completion of daily activities with minimal input and supervision to ensure successful accomplishment of company objectives. · Perform Receiving Inspections to verify that incoming parts, materials, and related documentation meet requirements and are suitable for use. · Perform First piece, In-process, Last piece, and Final inspections per sampling plans, product requirements, and job instructions to verify product conformity. · Perform First Article Inspections to ensure manufacturing die, tooling, and other manufacturing methods result in product meets customers drawing requirements. · Perform customer specific required Inspections and complete Inspection reports per the stated requirements. · Document, identify, and segregate nonconforming product in accordance with policies, procedures, and work instructions. · Make requests to suppliers for missing or incorrect documentation. · Use appropriate measuring devices and automated inspection equipment to perform inspections including basic programming of automated inspection equipment. · Interact with other departments in a professional manner in addressing product quality and service issues. · Provide other departments with information and assistance to support them in accomplishing their objectives. · Contribute to and participate in improvement activities within the department and the company. · Follow departmental procedures and work instructions as written and recommend improvements as necessary. · Perform any other task/activity assigned by the supervisor within the scope of Company business. · Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. This permanent, full-time position supports the Quality Assurance department. The Quality Control Senior Manager plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our commitment to food safety and quality. This hands-on position combines leadership with technical expertise, supporting the Director of Quality Control with administering department operations, validating program CCPs, and participating in audits, while also performing daily functions in the lab. Knowledge of laboratory principles is required. Product testing includes brix, pH, water activity, titrations, viscosities and organoleptic evaluations. Essential Job and Duties - Develop, implement, and manage quality systems, food safety programs, and regulatory compliance standards (HACCP, GMP, FSMA, SQF, etc.) - Coordinate with the Director of Quality Control to lead internal and external audits, including customer, third-party, and regulatory inspections - Manage record-keeping and reporting systems related to production metrics and regulatory requirements. - Assist with monitoring sanitation programs and environmental testing, ensuring compliance with microbiological and allergen control standards. Quality Engineer

Coordinates design review meetings to review all quality aspects of new products. Interfaces with Product Development Engineers to ensure quality considerations during the concept stage. •Support Design Control activities by ensuring compliance with FDA and international regulations. •Lead and participate in Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and risk assessments. •Review protocols and participate in planning to ensure alignment with product requirements. •Participate in protocol review and support testing strategy, ensuring robust verification and validation processes. •Support Design Control activities by ensuring compliance with FDA and international regulations. •Develops various inspection techniques and procedures to ensure product integrity to design specifications. Responsible for the writing, approval and implementation of Incoming, In-Process and Final Inspection procedures and operator self-inspection procedures. •Works with other Quality Engineers and the Metrology Lab personnel on the development of all product gaging. •Support the development and review of process and equipment validation/qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) and MSA of internal processes. •Works with suppliers, management, Engineers and Manufacturing associates in the resolution of quality problems. Also, assists each of these groups with capability studies and the application of statistical quality control. •Interfaces with Manufacturing Engineers to review processes for new products and coordinate process validations and capability studies. Recommends process monitoring devices where applicable. •Assists with complaint investigation and documentation interfaces with Regulatory Affairs to support UL, IEC, and FDA submissions. Participates in internal audits conducted by internal employees and regulatory agencies. •Develop and execute supplier qualification processes, including supplier contracts and PPAPs. •Manage and drive timely resolution of nonconformances (NCs) and corrective & preventive actions (CAPAs). EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field (Master’s preferred). •5+ years of experience in medical device quality engineering or a related field. •Strong knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA QSR (21 CFR Part 820), EU MDR, and risk management (ISO 14971). •Experience with Design Control, Process Validation, CAPA, and Supplier Quality. •Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (Minitab, JMP, Excel) /and problem-solving methodologies (8D, DMAIC). •Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
